[KOJIC ACID SERIES] Days 21-39

Hiya, guys!

If you could still remember, last month I started a skin care routine using kojic acid and I'm now on my 41st day in the routine. In case you missed it, I'm using the Kojie San Skin Lightening Soap, and I'm trying to see if it will help lighten or fade out my scars in two months. During the first 17 days, my skin has lightened and some of the acne scars are starting to lighten but has not gone away.

Let's start with Day 21 of the routine.

Day 21

The cystic acne on my right cheek has not healed just yet at this time, but some of the acne scars on my left cheek is already fading now.

[KOJIC ACID SERIES] Days 2-17

Hiya, guys!

As I have blogged before, I started a skin care routine using kojic acid -- specifically the Kojie San Skin Lightening Soap. I'm on my 20th day in the routine, and I'm giving myself one to two months to see if it's effective in fading dark spots caused by acne.

I was not able to take a decent 'before' photo, so I'll just use the photo I took when I went to the last day of the bar exams two weeks ago, November 29. I started using Kojie San two days after this, December 1.

Day 2

Not so much difference as with the before photo. This day, as far as photos are concerned, will be the jump-off point for any improvement on my skin using the kojic acid skin care routine.

[FIRST IMPRESSION] Kojie San Skin Lightening Soap

Hiya, guys!

Today I'm going to start a series to document my use of Kojie San Skin Lightening Soap.

From Kojie San:

Shown in the picture is the three-piece pack which costs P120, but I'm actually using a piece from a smaller three-piece pack which costs P72.50. Yes, we have a stock of Kojie San soap to last for quite some time.

Each soap inside the box (regardless of the size) is contained in a plastic wrapper like this.

The soap itself is orange in color, reminiscent of papaya soaps available in the market. It has this faint citrusy scent which sometimes borderline into something synthetic, or maybe that's just me. It's a bar soap, but it's not as brick-hard as ordinary bar soaps.

So what made me get into the kojic acid routine? Click 'Read More' to find out.
