We're now at the second part of my 'What's in My Kikay Kit' post, as promised. I'm now featuring the lip and pencil products here, as well as my updated brush set. So let's begin..
FS Cosmetics Eye Pencil in Dark Brown
I actually use this as a brow pencil, when I want to fix my brows in an instant. It does not show much when swatched, but its hardness makes it ideal to lightly draw on my brows. A few light, hairlike strokes and a quick brush with a spoolie and I'm good to go!
Natasha Beauty GlamFix Eyeliner in Chocofix
To say that this eyeliner is a staple in my makeup bag is an understatement. And as you can see, I'm about to hit the end of the pencil. Maybe when I finally hit the end it's time for me to try another kind of brown pencil liner?
Ever Bilena Lip Pencil in Capuccino
The perfect matte browny nude lip color for just 100 pesos. Seriously guys, if you're looking for a matte lip color in a pinch (they come in five colors, by the way), look no further than the Ever Bilena stand at beauty stores and supermarkets -- I kid you not, you can now buy makeup in supermarkets!

[UPDATED] What's In My Kikay Kit -- Part 1
Hiya, guys!
Finally blogging again after many months of busy-ness and a brief slump (see previous post). I kinda miss blogging about all things kikay so might as well bring it back, not just for you guys, but for me as well.
I was going through my blog posts and I found that it was almost three years since my last 'what's in my kikay kit' post. (see post one, post two and post three) A lot of things inside my bag essentials has changed since then, so why not make a post (or two? haha) about it?
First of all, I got myself another bag organizer a few years ago. Unlike the pink one from three years ago, this one is blue with yellow zippers and the construction of this one is much softer. As with my previous organizer, it not only houses my kikay essentials but also other items like card organizer, medicine kit, a mini fan and some other stuff.
Okay, without further adieu, let's go through the kikay things in my kikay kit:
BTW: This will be a pretty long post so like my previous 'what's in my kikay kit' post, I'll be doing this in installments. Also, I've done reviews on some of the items listed here, and I've provided the links here on this post. If you want me to do a full-on review on the items here that were not previously reviewed, let me know by leaving a comment at the comments section.

Jesselle the Makeup Junkie: The Brush Kit (and a New Addition to My Arsenal)
What's makeup without the proper brushes?
Sure, there are some items that you can apply with your hands or fingers, but the precision that makeup brushes offer is beyond compare.
But because I'm not exactly a professional when it comes with makeup application, and I don't have that much time to rummage around 24 pieces of brushes just to get the job done, I settled with a seven-piece set, with the addition of one.
The Fanny Serrano brush kit comes with seven brushes:
A. Face Brush - for buffing all over the face; also for applying face powder.
B. Blush Brush - for blushes, obviously; also for bronzers.
C. Eyeshadow Brush - for applying the base color on the eyes.
D. Eye Blending Brush - for blurring out harsh lines when applying two or more eye colors; most useful when doing the smokey eye.
E. Angled Brush - for precision application of eye color (I personally use this brush for applying the darkest color at the area between the lash line to the crease)
F. Lip Brush - for lip colors; most useful when applying red lip color (It is always advisable to use a brush when applying red lip color; except for those times when you want just a hint of red on your lips -- put a bit with your pinkie finger, and then finish it off with lip balm or clear gloss)
G. Mascara Spoolie - for separating lashes clumped with mascara and grooming eyebrows.
I encased my two larger brushes in a net-like brush protector to retain its shape. I bought these protectors at Suesh kiosk in Trinoma -- it comes in a set of ten, but because it's too long for my otherwise small brushes, I cut them in half so that it fits.
When I first bought the set, I was already content with its contents -- for a makeup novice like me, it has everything I need. But as I learn new techniques, I felt the need for more brushes. And I found one of them at SM Department Store...
This is the bullet brush from Marionnaud. Great for applying eye contour color (which I'm still trying to perfect to this day), most useful when doing the smokey eye.
I still want to complete my 'advanced' makeup brush kit, and the following brushes will make it complete: foundation brush, concealer brush, hard-bristle brow brush.
And for the latest addition in my arsenal...
Here it is: In2It Waterproof Eyebrow Powder. I received it as a gift during our office kris kringle. I originally wrote 'ELF Brow Kit' in the wishlist, but my monita gave me this. How does this fare for my standards? Watch out for it... :)

Jesselle the Makeup Junkie: The Kikay Kits (an introduction)
On an ordinary day, I wear big bags, primarily because I carry lots of stuff inside. Aside from books, a notebook, some papers and an envelope containing a few documents (read: registration cards, payslips and tuition receipts), I carry makeup. Pretty lots of it, actually.
The reason is that I tend to put on makeup on the road -- while riding the bus/FX, at the office, in school -- anywhere but at home; primarily because I only have very little time to primp up at home. Carrying a variety of makeup also gives me plenty of options -- maybe one day I prefer the basic look, the next day I want to do the cat-eye -- you get the picture.
Here's my bag organizer which serves as my kikay kit #1 (later on the #2). It carries most of the makeup stuff that I bring everyday, including the basics, as well as things like lotion, perfume and alcohol.
This one is my kikay kit #2, which houses my so-called 'variety pack' -- items that I use when I'm in a mood for a certain look for a particular day. You could see that it has my company logo printed on it, because it was given as a souvenir in one of the company's events. Since most of the items are in stick form, I put them in a pencil case like this one.
As the label in this one indicates, this is my brush kit from Fanny Serrano. It houses my brushes along with a few other additional items.
In my next post, I'll list down the makeup items inside these makeup bags. I'm gonna do a mini-review of these products, and hopefully, a full review of them when I find the time.
