My name is Jesselle, and I'm an Aries born in the year of the Earth Snake.

I'm a working law student -- I do a regular writing job for a major broadcast network, and at the same time, I'm on my fourth year in law school, though my school records say 'third year.'

I read a lot, be it books, magazines, newspapers, webpages, even product labels. I'm also a huge music lover, though lately I try to be as updated as possible. I'm also a foodie, and by that I mean I love to cook and to eat. Recently I'm discovering my love for all things beauty -- skin care, makeup, hair care and everything in between.

Finally, I love to write, and I express myself better in writing. That's the reason why I've been blogging since high school. The reason why I took up Journalism in college. The reason why I do better in the essay portions of law school exams than in multiple-choice questions. The reason why, despite my present highly-emotionally-toxic lifestyle, I maintain a blog.

The Story Behind the Blog (Name)

The blog name came from a line from 'Legally Blonde: The Musical.' I could not think of a good name for my blog, so I went on writing my first blog entry, which is a reflection of that particular part of the play and my situation at that moment. Click here to read the entry.

I actually intended my blog to be the chronicle of my law school life, until I realize later on that this is a perfect escape for my otherwise crazy everyday life. So today this blog is a mash-up of beauty, fashion, travel, work, law school and everything else in between.
